Tijarafe is a municipality located in the northwest of the island of La Palma. It is the fifth largest municipality of the island with almost 54 km2, ie 7.6% of the total area of the island. In addition, Tijarafe has 11.5 km of coastline. Tijarafe has a large number of natural areas, such as Roque Palmero, Cueva Bonita, Pozo de Tinizara, Prois de la Candelaria Caves, Playa de la Veta and Playa del Jurado.
