Casa Alicia is a relatively small, rustic vacation home with internet, satellite TV, in a wonderful, quiet location with great sea views and a very nice pool, in the climatically better part of the island, conveniently located between La Punta and Tijarafe. A ping pong table is available, and from 2 weeks stay you will be invited to a great meal and wine drinking in the house’s own bodega by the house owners.

Hello Mrs. Fischer!

The vacation on La Palma was again very nice and I would like to report briefly to you.
The landlords, Alicia and Felix were very nice hosts. In addition to a nice barbecue day with very good food and excellent Casa Alicia wine, which Felix himself pressed from vines on the property, we also got an interesting tour of the banana plantation, which Felix works. In order for us to communicate better, Alicia had even brought in a translator. This allowed us to learn a lot of interesting things about the island and meet very warm, hospitable people.
During the whole two weeks we had fresh bananas from Felix’ plantation in Puerto Naos at our disposal at Casa Alicia. In addition, potatoes, peppers, lemons, oranges, medlars and lettuce, all fresh from Casa Alicia’s garden and lots of fresh eggs from Felix’s own chickens. Casa Alicia’s garden is a little paradise and celebrating with the hosts in the bodega was a real experience we wouldn’t want to miss.
The neighbors of the cottage were also very nice and hospitable and we were given onions for home by a neighbor on the last day before we left, such gigantic big onions as you don’t even see at the Mercadillo in Puntagorda. At home, everyone was very amazed at such huge onions, no one had ever seen anything like that. Viva La Palma!
