Casa Bellido in Tijarafe

Great vacation home, well-equipped, with jacuzzi and courtyard garden, between Tijarafe and Puntagorda

The charming Casa Bellido is located in the Aguatavar district of Tijarafe at an altitude of approximately 750 m above sea level and is suitable for up to 4 people. The house has approximately 55 m², the veranda approximately 21 m² and the property covers approximately 350 m².

Location:

The Casa lies between the villages of Tijarafe and Puntagorda. In about 5 minutes by car, you can reach the centre of Tijarafe with its restaurants, grocery shops, organic store and other shops.

In about 10 minutes you are in the neighbouring village of Puntagorda, with 3 supermarkets, 2 organic stores, 1 butcher and 1 café serving delicious cakes. There is also the very popular weekend farmers’ market featuring local produce.

The house is ideal for hikers. From the house you can enjoy lovely walks, for example towards the sea to the beautiful Playa de La Veta (just over an hour on foot, or about 15 minutes by car), or to the legendary Pirates’ Cove (about two hours on foot, or roughly 20 minutes by car).

The beach of Tazacorte is about 30 minutes away, the town of Los Llanos around 35 minutes.

Casa Bellido is easily accessible via a public road. There is a private parking space in front of the house.

The house:

On the ground floor you’ll find the cosy living area with a comfortable sofa, flat-screen TV and a wood-burning stove for cooler days. The integrated kitchen is very well equipped and leaves nothing to be desired. From here you have access to the covered veranda right in front of the house. A dining table with a bench and two comfortable chairs awaits you for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

On the first floor there are two bedrooms: one with a double bed, wardrobe and a combined air conditioning/heating unit; the other with two single beds and a shelving unit. There is also a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower and a window.

If you need or want to work, fast internet (fibre-optic connection) is available.

There are two special highlights in this house. The first is the beautiful and impressive courtyard garden with designer furniture, lovely lighting in the evening, attractive plants and a barbecue area.

The second is a staircase leading up to a higher terrace. From here you have a wonderful view of the sea. A large jacuzzi is ready for your use. It can be heated to a pleasant temperature (so you can use it in winter too). Enjoy it with a glass of wine, looking out over the Atlantic, or at night gazing into La Palma’s fantastic and unique starry sky. There are also 2 sun loungers, additional seating and an outdoor shower. On the other side of the road there is a small seating area where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in the morning, also with a sea view.

The owners have designed everything with great love and care, and place high value on making their guests feel completely at home.
