Location

Casa Buho is situated alone and very quietly at approx. 490 m above sea level on the coast of Puntagorda on a finca of approx. 10,000 sqm in unique, natural surroundings with many fruit and avocado trees, which you may of course help yourself to.

Due to the low altitude and the wind-protected location, the best and warmest climate of Puntagorda prevails here. The location is absolutely quiet in untouched and natural surroundings. The view exactly to the west over the Atlantic Ocean is completely free and very impressive from the house as well as from the pool.

House

Casa Buho is modern and comfortably furnished. Inside you will find a large living room with a large, comfortable sofa, flat screen TV with German channels and if you want to work also a desk, a fully equipped kitchen with e.g. dishwasher, oven and microwave, 2 bedrooms, as well as adjacent to each bedroom two bathrooms, one of them with ground level shower. For the colder months, underfloor heating provides a cozy warmth. And for your laundry there is a washing machine and dryer in the separate utility room. Of course, there is also free internet/WIFI.

Outside, a large pool approx. 8 m x 4 m, with salt water system and pool heating and then ground level approx. 100 sqm terrace awaits you for exclusive use, where you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets with a glass of wine every evening. In addition, there is a Weber electric grill, sunbeds, dining table, this can be protected from the sun with the awning attached to the house and of course again a separate parasol. In front of the house in a small patio you will find protected from the sun once again a seating area with table and chairs.

Due to its remote location, the finca is also ideal for amateur astronomers to observe the stars, as there is little stray light.

Activities and shopping

In the village of Puntagorda there are several supermarkets, two health food stores, restaurants, bars and a health center. Also noteworthy is the weekend market on Saturday and Sunday, with local products, such as freshly squeezed sugar cane juice, fruits and vegetables from the region and delicious cakes.

The surrounding area offers wonderful hiking trails directly from the house. Not far away is the “Puerto de Puntagorda”, a natural harbor and popular bathing place with a protected rocky bay and caves.

In addition, popular excursion destinations, such as the Roque de los Muchachos or the Cuevas de Buracas are easily accessible by car.
