Location

On the coast below El Time in Tijarafe, in the small village of La Punta de la Costa, lies the Casa Garten apartment building in a tranquil setting, just 320 meters above sea level. The building contains two apartments and is situated in a beautifully landscaped park. A seawater pool in a tropical setting is the special highlight of the complex.

Located in the most climatically favorable part of La Palma, it’s the perfect choice for sunshine and pleasant temperatures in both summer and winter. A hiking trail leads to Puerto de Tazacorte, passing numerous caves along the cliffside to Tazacorte beach. Along the way, you’ll enjoy magnificent views of the Caldera de Taburiente, the Angustias Gorge, and across the sandy beach, harbor, and sea. Before embarking on the hike, a visit to one of the island’s best seafood restaurants is highly recommended.

House and equipment

The house has 2 flats for 2 persons each. They offer a spacious living and dining area with integrated kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, as well as a shared terrace with sea view. The flats are located on the first floor and can be reached via a staircase with 10 steps. The tropical garden with extravagant sea salt pool (with electrolysis) is second to none.

However, we only rent out 1 flat at a time if you come as a couple, so that you have the whole upper floor, the pool and the garden to yourself!

For those guests who need or want to work, there is fast internet with fibre optics.

And if you ever need help, the very helpful and very nice house owner Carlos can be found on the ground floor. But you always have the complete garden and pool area to yourself.

Activities

The location in the climatically best part of La Palma at only about 250 metres above sea level is the best choice for sun and pleasant temperatures in summer as well as in winter. On foot you can take the hiking trail to Puerto de Tazacorte, which leads past many caves on the steep slope to the beach of Tazacorte. You will enjoy magnificent views of the Caldera de Taburiente, the Angustias Gorge and over the sandy beach, harbour and sea. Before the ascent, a visit to the best fish restaurants on the island is recommended.
