Location:

The holiday home Casa La Castellana is located in Aguatavar, a district of Tijarafe, on the sunny west side of La Palma, at approx. 650 m above sea level. In about 3 minutes by car you reach the village centre of Tijarafe with restaurants, grocery shops, an organic shop and stores.

In approx. 10 minutes you reach the neighbouring village of Puntagorda with 3 supermarkets, 2 organic shops, 1 butcher and 1 café with delicious cakes. And the very popular farmers’ market with local produce, held on weekends.

The house is also ideal for hikers. From the house you can enjoy beautiful walks, e.g. towards the sea to the legendary Pirate Cove or to the lovely bathing bay Playa de La Veta. The beach of Tazacorte can be reached in approx. 25 minutes.

The holiday home, with approx. 95 m², is set on a plot of approx. 1,050 m². It features a spacious living/dining area with a well-equipped, integrated kitchen with a counter and 4 bar stools. In the living area there is a comfortable sofa with a chaise longue, which can be converted into a sofa bed, a flat-screen TV with German channels and a combined air conditioning and heating unit. From here you have direct access to the terrace. There are also two bedrooms, one with a large double bed, a large wardrobe, 2 windows with blackout blinds and a combined air conditioning and heating unit. The other bedroom has 2 single beds, a wardrobe, a window with a blackout blind and likewise a combined air conditioning and heating unit. The bathroom with window offers you a shower and also a bathtub. For barbecue fans, an extra room is available with a built-in grill, sink, dining table and access to the terrace. Here you can spend lovely evenings and prepare many delicacies to your heart’s content. For working and surfing, free, fast and unlimited fibre-optic internet is available to you.

In the outdoor area, right in front of the house in a sheltered spot, a dining table with 4 comfortable rattan chairs awaits you. The private pool with its large terrace, sun loungers, parasol and outdoor shower can be reached from the house by going down 11 steps. Enjoy the surroundings with a glass of wonderful La Palma wine and the spectacular sunsets, and at night the fantastic and unique view of the starry sky.
