Location:

The Villa Miramatos is located below Puntagorda at around 550 m above sea level. You can walk to the town, where there are several restaurants, 2 organic shops, a café with delicious German cakes, a butcher’s shop, three supermarkets and shops. The surroundings are completely natural and you can go on beautiful hikes directly from the house, e.g. to El Fayal (the pine forest) and to the popular farmers’ market “Mercadillo de Puntagorda”, which takes place every weekend, to the Monte Matos viewpoint or along the deep Barranco de Izgagua gorge. The sea is also quickly accessible from here at Puerto Puntagorda with a small sea swimming pool.

The house:

The house with 85 sqm living space was built with German materials in an ecological construction method. Enjoy the lovingly selected, high-quality furnishings with a fireplace, comfortable seating, good mattresses, Bose Soundtouch 20 Bluetooth, neat kitchen utensils, coffee machine with bean grinder, dishwasher etc. Everything will give you the feeling of capturing a little of the magic of the south and taking it home with you as a souvenir.

In the spacious living room you will find a large, comfortable couch, floor-to-ceiling windows and 2 exits to the terraces. A fireplace is available for cozy warmth in winter. Firewood is included for the first few days. There is also a dining table with 2 comfortable rattan armchairs and a flat-screen TV with German programs.

The house has a bedroom with a large double bed 180 x 200 cm and a wardrobe and another bedroom with two single beds each 90 x 200 cm and a wardrobe.

There is central heating in every room. Of course, a washing machine is also available during your stay.

From the 12 sqm terrace and the 7000 sqm property with its Mediterranean garden and forest to the adjacent Barranco (ravine), you have a gigantic, unobstructed panoramic view of the Atlantic.

On the terrace next to the house there is a large covered area with a dining table, a bench and 2 wicker chairs. There is also a plancha, or grill plate in German. Meat, fish, seafood and vegetables can be grilled on it at high temperatures, particularly gently and aromatically. Fruit, pancakes and even eggs can also be easily prepared on the grill plate.

In front of the house, with a view of the sea, there are designer loungers, 2 parasols and 2 round mosaic tables with 2 wicker chairs. There are also other seating options on the property, as well as a sun island made of rattan with a sunroof. And there is an outdoor shower for cooling off.

The sunsets are spectacular and will pamper your soul when you enjoy this spectacle with a glass of sparkling wine or wine on the beautiful terrace. This location is also great for stargazing and astrophotography as there is hardly any stray light.
