Location:

Casa Raíces is located in the beautiful town of Puntagorda. You can reach the town center in about 10 minutes on foot. There are three supermarkets, two organic shops, a café with delicious cakes, a butcher, restaurants, bars and a health center. A bus stop is about 2 minutes away. The farmers’ market on the weekends with local products is also worth mentioning.

The surrounding area offers wonderful hiking trails, such as the “Puerto de Puntagorda”, a natural harbor and popular bathing area with a sheltered rocky bay and caves. Popular excursion destinations such as the Roque de los Muchachos, the Cuevas de Buracas or the beaches are also easy to reach by car.

The house:

The charming Casa Raíces with approx. 90 m2 is located at approx. 750 m above sea level just outside the town center.

The house is lovingly and comfortably furnished. The owners attach great importance to making their guests feel comfortable. When you move into the house, you will be greeted by a bowl of organic seasonal fruit from their own garden, eggs and a bottle of excellent La Palma wine.

Depending on the season, there are apples, oranges, tangerines, grapes, almonds, lemons, figs, avocados, plums, etc., which you can of course also harvest for your own consumption.

First of all, in the entrance area you will find a bright room with lots of windows, a table with 2 chairs, plants and, if required, a hammock can be attached. From this room you can either go into the modern kitchen or the living room. The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge/freezer combination, oven, microwave, fully automatic coffee machine, etc.

In the living room there is a comfortable sofa with a comfortable reclining function, a flat screen TV with German channels and shelves with books.

The hallway leads to the bedroom with a double bed 150 cm × 200 cm, 2 bedside lamps and a combination air conditioning and heating system.

The second bedroom has a single bed 100 cm × 190 cm, a bedside lamp and a chest of drawers.

There is an extra dressing room for your clothes, with lots of cupboards and a large mirror.

In the bathroom with a window you will find a shower and, as a highlight, a hydromassage bathtub. Bathrobes and a hairdryer are also available.

If you want or need to work, there is unlimited internet with fiber optic.

The great pool area with approx. 150 m2 is located above the house. You can relax on the two loungers or spend a nice time in the covered lounge area with the comfortable cushions, e.g. with a glass of wine. The large, heated saltwater pool with approx. 8 m × 3.8 m invites you to swim. It is heated with an environmentally friendly 6 kW photovoltaic system, so nothing stands in the way of swimming pleasure even in the winter months. An outdoor shower is available for cooling off.

The very nice owners live in the lower area. But you always have your privacy and the entire upper area and the pool area to yourself.
