Location:

You will find a fantastic view in this unique location in the popular town of Puntagorda. In the evenings, you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and at night you can observe the countless stars, ideal for astrophotography.

The village of Puntagorda can be reached by car in a few minutes or on foot in about 20 to 30 minutes. There are three supermarkets, two organic shops, a butcher, a café with delicious cakes, restaurants, bars and a health centre. The surrounding area offers wonderful hiking trails right from the house, and Puntagorda is especially beautiful during the almond blossom season. Not far away is Puerto de Puntagorda, a natural harbour and popular bathing spot with a sheltered rocky cove and caves. On weekends, Saturdays and Sundays, Puntagorda hosts a popular farmers’ market with local products.

The villa:

The house was built in traditional Canarian style with an open Canarian wooden roof, Canarian windows and doors, and wooden floors, decorated in the Moorish-Spanish Mudéjar style.

Everything is of very high quality and fitted with the best materials.

Access to the house is barrier-free with a generous ramp from the car park to the house. The entire property has WiFi (fibre optic internet 300 Mbit/s) and can accommodate a maximum of 4 people (including children). Dogs are welcome on request.

The garden was painstakingly laid out over a period of 10 years on different levels and combines playful elements with subtropical plants.

The Arabic terrace:

• 25 m² star-shaped wooden pergola

The Toledo Terrace:

• Two rectangular levels invite you to sunbathe on Solnhofen slabs and natural pebbles after a dip in the pool

The Flora Terrace:

• Circular and floral abstract patterns made of limestone slabs, quartzite and natural pebbles

THE WATER FEATURES:
The Arabic fountain

• A total of 12 metres of Arabic fountains, as in the Generalife in the Alhambra in Granada
• The 24 water spouts are in operation for 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the evening, and at any time on request

The watercourse:

• Starting at the main terrace, the stream flows down the steps.
• It then flows into arches and six gargoyles
• before finally reaching a water basin
• and then a shallow fountain made of Moroccan zellige tiles
• until it feeds into a natural pond.
• The watercourse is in operation for two hours in the morning and two hours in the evening, and at any time on request.

THE PATHS:

• The terraces are connected by playful paths.
• At night, these are indirectly illuminated.
• The paths connect the individual levels via Arabic stairs.
• From the car park to the house, the path is designed as a flat ramp in the Portuguese style of the Praça do Rossio (barrier-free).
