Location:

The charming Casa Almendro is surrounded by greenery, below the popular village of Puntagorda.

From the house you can make a small circular hike or of course also towards the sea to the Mirador de Matos or to the Puerto (port) de Puntagorda, with a small sea swimming pool.

The village of Puntagorda can be reached by car in a few minutes. There are 3 supermarkets, 2 organic shops, 1 butcher, restaurants and 1 café with delicious cakes and the very popular farmers market with local produce, which takes place on weekends.

Due to its location, the Casa is also ideal for hobby astronomers for stargazing. The night sky is unique because there is no disturbing light pollution.

The House:

The cottage, built in 2008, is modern and furnished with loving accessories and can accommodate 2 people. Due to the perfect room layout, with plenty of storage space and the many large windows, it is very bright and makes the house with its 42 m2 seem much bigger than it is.

Already the area in front of the house with large terrace and 2 ponds seems very inviting. Breakfast can be enjoyed, for example, on the large, round mosaic table with 2 comfortable rat chairs. From here you can enjoy the beautiful view of the sea and also the spectacular sunsets. At night you can see the unique starry sky of La Palmas without light pollution.

Inside, in the living and dining area there is a rattan sofa with armchair, a reading lamp and a small flat screen TV, with German programs. From here you have a great view of the outside. In addition, there is a dining table and another patio door with access to the rear terrace and the great garden of the house. The small but well-equipped kitchen opens directly from the dining table. There is even a small dishwasher and a water treatment plant for fresh drinking water.

The bedroom with double bed 160 x 200 cm, large wardrobe and a comfortable armchair with small table is also very bright. You have direct access to the front terrace.

Directly opposite the bedroom is the bathroom with window, toilet, shower and sink. Throughout the house there is underfloor heating for the cooler days on La Palma.

One of the highlights is behind the house. On the one hand the beautiful terrace, with rattant table and 4 chairs, 2 sun loungers and 2 umbrellas. On the other hand, the beautiful garden, which can be reached with a few steps, with a cozy wooden bench and additional seating Amidst palm trees, exotic trees and, depending on the season, a blooming splendor of different plants, you can relax and enjoy the wonderful silence.

The romantic cottage is located about 2km below the center of Puntagorda in absolute secluded location below a small road. The last meters to the house lead over a track, which is however easily passable with careful driving. The rental car is parked above the house on a small parking lot. A slightly steeper concrete path leads down to the house.
