Location

Casa Shangri-La is situated in the north of La Palma near Santo Domingo, Garafía, in a dreamlike, idyllic and quiet solitary location with a fantastic sea view at 300 m above sea level in a scenically beautiful environment. From the house, the large covered patio and the open space you have a free view into the beautiful nature, over the Atlantic and the mountains. In Santo Domingo there is a supermarket, pharmacy, doctor and the top restaurant “El Bernegal”. Above you can also easily reach the place of pilgrimage San Antonio with its church. The finca is ideal for amateur astronomers to observe the stars. The terrace north from SW over N to NE has a free view to the horizon and the other directions are also free above 45 degrees.

House and facilities

Casa Shangri-La is a large, old, renovated mansion in typical Canarian style with thick walls, window seats and Canarian roofs. It has been renovated according to the quality standards of “Turismo Rural”. There are two double bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. The large living room has comfortable upholstered furniture, satellite TV and a very good music system. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and washbasin. The kitchen is fully and very stylishly equipped with dishwasher, oven, microwave etc.. In each room (3x) there is air conditioning, which also functions as heating. So even in Calima heat, as well as on cold winter days, the best climate is always guaranteed. On the terrace there is comfortable wooden furniture for sitting and lying down. The traditional barbecue area outside is half open and accessible from the terrace. There is also a separate room for the washing machine and tumble dryer. This is to control the house very stylishly and qualitatively. A 4G Wi-Fi router provides a fast internet connection for your laptop, tablet or smartphone (together 5 devices).

The house is surrounded by greenery, in a beautiful setting, away from any neighborhood and offers a breathtaking view of the sea, which can be admired from the beautiful terrace.
