Villa Botánico is a unique place. The owners have renovated and furnished this house with great attention to detail. It is spacious and offers plenty of space. It is incredibly quiet, perfect for deep relaxation.

Location:

In the town of Puntagorda, there are several supermarkets, two organic food stores, restaurants, bars, a butcher, a café with delicious cakes, and a health center. On weekends, Saturdays and Sundays, the popular farmers’ market takes place, offering local produce and handicrafts.

The surrounding area offers wonderful hiking trails directly from the house; Puntagorda is especially beautiful during the almond blossom season. Not far away and within walking distance is the “Puerto de Puntagorda,” a natural harbor and popular swimming spot with a sheltered rocky cove and caves.

La Palma is famous for its clear night skies with minimal light pollution, allowing you to experience a sky full of stars.

The house:

The beautiful villa has two bedrooms on the lower ground floor, each with a double bed and two single mattresses (90×200), a spacious kitchen with a dining room, and a spacious living room. The kitchen is very well equipped with a dishwasher, gas stove, and electric oven. Except for the bedrooms (wooden floorboards), all rooms feature antique terracotta flooring. Two bathrooms are located on the ground floor. One is equipped with a shower and toilet, the second with a shower.

Another room contains a guest toilet. The bathrooms are tiled with antique travertine marble and handcrafted mosaics from Fez.

High-quality materials also characterize the interior design of the house, where whitewashed walls contrast with the warm wooden frames of the doors and windows. The stylish interior design is complemented by bright primary colors that provide a fitting backdrop for the design classics and Bauhaus furniture. The antique terracotta floors from France harmonize with Le Corbusier and modern accents. Wall tiles from Morocco, hand-picked North African art, and carefully selected furnishings complement the ambience with great attention to detail. The silver-plated sinks in the bathrooms were handmade in Marrakech.

Attached to the house is a Pajero van, which houses the washing machine (with iron and ironing board).

The suite on the first floor is suitable for two people: a large living room with a bed (180 cm x 200 cm), a Bauhaus armchair, a balcony overlooking the finca and the Atlantic Ocean, and a bathroom with a bathtub made of blue Moroccan mosaic tiles and a toilet.

The house is equipped with a satellite TV, stereo with CD player, DVD player, radio, and internet access.

The thick, partially natural stone walls keep the house warm in winter and cool in summer. The central heating and the heated pool also allow for year-round use. A very personal and private paradise for your stay.

The garden:

The beautiful garden extends across several levels beneath an impressive avenue of cypresses. The garden, landscaped over many years in a Mediterranean style, impresses with an incredible variety of plants. The garden pond, surrounded by terraces and dotted with tropical water lilies, offers incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean. A vantage point in front of the garden offers unobstructed views over the finca to the Puntagorda coast. Sunsets here become an incredible experience.

You’ll also find a private infinity pool with 180º ocean views, heated by a heat pump. Pool dimensions approx. 4m x 7m, depth 1.40m.
