Villa Botánico is a unique place. The owners have renovated and furnished this house with great attention to detail. It is very spacious and offers a lot of room. It is incredibly quiet there, very suitable for absolute deep relaxation.

The house

The beautiful villa has 2 bedrooms (2 x 90*200) in the basement, which are equipped with single mattresses, a spacious kitchen with dining room and a spacious living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, gas cooker and electric oven, . Except for the bedrooms (wooden floorboards), all rooms have an antique terracotta floor. Two bathrooms are on the ground floor. One bathroom has a shower and WC, the second bathroom has a shower.

Another room contains a guest toilet. The bathrooms are tiled with antique travertine marble and handmade mosaic from Fez.
Attached to the house is a Pajero, which houses the washing machine (with iron and ironing board).

The suite on the first floor is suitable for 2 persons: large living room with french bed (140*200 cm), 2 leather armchairs, fireplace, balcony with view over the finca and the Atlantic Ocean, bathroom with bathtub made of blue Moroccan mosaic tiles and toilet.

In the house there is a TV (satellite system), stereo with CD player, telephone and internet access.

The garden

Below an imposing cypress avenue, the beautiful garden extends over several levels. The garden, which has been laid out in Mediterranean style over many years, captivates with an unbelievable variety of plants. Around the garden pond surrounded by terraces with tropical water lilies, you have an incredible view of the Atlantic. From a vantage point in front of the garden, you have an unobstructed view over the finca to the coast of Puntagorda. Sunsets here are an incredible experience.

Another plus are the many hiking possibilities directly from the house and the easy access to the shops in Puntagorda.

In the village of Puntagorda there are several supermarkets, health food shop, restaurants, bars and a health centre. The surrounding area offers wonderful hiking trails directly from the house, especially during the almond blossom Puntagorda is beautiful. Not far away and also within walking distance is the “Puerto de Puntagorda”, a natural harbour and popular bathing place with a protected rocky bay and caves.
